Great Motorcycling Routes
As outlined in the 'About Us' page our workshop is located next to one of the best motorcycling routes in New Zealand. That is, the Lewis Pass Highway which sweeps through magnificent mountain scenery. Nothing beats the sound of a bike wearing one of our exhausts as it thunders past our workshop, often with a friendly toot. Sometimes I feel envious but my work must be done.
Adventure Riding near the main divide
It's not just the sealed roads that make for a good ride. The March 2011 Kiwi Rider magazine has an article about adventure riding on the St James Station which traverses spectacular mountain passes and valleys ( which I have a view of out my front door)
The ride comes recommended by Racing Dave who rode 150km from Hanmer Springs. He says to phone DOC tel 03 313 -0820. Apparently the permit process has been made simple.
